BarBug Straight Up: Many of the recipes indicate "Mixing glass with ice" in which you are to SHAKE AND STRAIN the ingredients. Buy a cocktail shaker kit (mixing glass and tin), they are very handy for shaking. The kits usually have a coil wire strainer that makes serving strained drinks easier.

Your bar should also have a corkscrew, shot glass (1 1/2 oz jigger), stir sticks, tooth picks, straws, coasters, ice bucket & tongs, measuring spoons and cutting board with a sharp knife.
